Dr. Griff Holland is a 2014 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Griff received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in 2008. Following completion of his veterinary degree, Dr. Griff worked in private practice for four years, including one year in emergency practice. After visiting some friends in the Lowcountry, he and his wife Heidi decided to make the move to Bluffton to start Lowcountry Vets. Outside of practice, Dr. Griff is a die hard fly fishing enthusiast, spending much of his free time wading the local flats.
Dr. Heidi is a 2012 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Heidi served as a Large Animal Field Services Intern and Instructor for the University of Georgia for two years. Upon completion of her internship, Dr. Heidi began a residency and PhD in Comparative Theriogenology, learning reproduction techniques in both large and small animals. Dr. Heidi is an avid equine enthusiast and enjoys riding her horse, Charleston, throughout the beautiful countryside of the Lowcountry.
Windy Williford is originally from Perry, Georgia. She is a 2015 graduate of Athens Technical College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys being outside and hanging out with her dog, Mally. Windy has a strong passion for both large and small animal medicine.
Ashlee Miles, is originally from Maine. She began her journey in animal medicine two years ago on Hilton Head Island. Ashlee has always had a passion for animals, starting out as a receptionist and quickly moving her way up to become a Veterinary Assistant. Ashlee is now a resident of Bluffton and thrilled to be able to provide services to her local community.
Shyanne Cockrill, is originally from Orange County, California. She moved to Hilton Head Island in 2016. She has three cats of her own, two of which were rescued as kittens, and the other was adopted as a kitten from a shelter. She has always had a passion for animals and is now pursuing her career in veterinary medicine. She started off as a receptionist and is now learning very quickly to become a Veterinary Assistant.
Heather Locklear, is originally from Ithaca, New York. She began her journey in animal medicine 3 years ago in Bluffton, SC where she started out as a veterinary assistant. On her down time she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her two cats. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience with everyone here in the Lowcountry.
Molly Clayton, is originally from Avon Lake, Ohio. She began her journey in veterinary medicine two years ago on Hilton Head Island after obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of South Carolina at Beaufort. She has been a resident of the Bluffton community for 8 years and is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the local community.
